Inspired by the Gargantua black hole from Interstellar, this work portrays the gravitational lensing of light. Set on a circular canvas 60 cm in diameter, the accretion disk appears to warp in a three-dimensional experience.

Technical Specifications:

• Structure: 220 precision-placed nails positioned along the outer perimeter of the circular frame.

• Material: A total of 2.0 kilometers of tensioned thread representing the bending of spacetime.

• Color Palette: Crafted using 5 distinct thread colors in bright white, ochre, gold, and deep space shadows.

The result is an epic piece where string art geometry recreates the laws of relativity made into art.
